We are the British Army’s national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families since 1944.
We reached more than 75,000 members of the Army family in 2022 and 2023, from young serving families coping with sudden loss to service leavers in need of education and training for employment, to older veterans and their widows or widowers feeling isolated and lonely.
We provide about 77 weekly grants, which cost on average £68,000.

- Provide grants towards beneficiaries’ training fees to improve their employability.
- Contribute towards the cost of mobility equipment such as motorised wheelchairs to support independent living.
